CYRENAICA, Cyrene. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ Quadrans (2.64 g, 12h). Scato, proconsul. Struck circa 20-12 BC. Head of Libya right, wearing taenia; tiny L(?) behind head / Erect coiled serpent righy. RPC 945; Müller, Afrique -; cf. SNG Copenhagen 1317-8. Fine, brown patina, metal flaw on obverse.
